The Bandera Natural History and Art Museum is a nonprofit organization, located at 267 Old San Antonia Road in Bandera. It is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes and is a nonprofit Public Charity business with 501(c)3 status. This project is a joint venture between Hill Country Master Gardeners and Hill Country Master Naturalists who developed a landscaping plan consisting of native shrubs, forbs and grasses on the grounds of the museum. The 8-acre property provides visitors of the museum with an opportunity to observe a natural setting of native vegetation which attracts pollinators and birds.
