Junior Master Gardener/Youth Education Projects: Various locations throughout service area Volunteers work with children in a variety of settings such as schools, public libraries, 4-H programs, and community centers. Some of the projects are single event activities, such as Kerrville ISD Science Days. Other projects are longer term such as the JMG certification program for 4-H Club. Horticultural education for our younger gardeners is a way of advancing the future of healthy environments and successful gardening. Master Gardener volunteers are vital to this important part of our mission.

Kerr County 4-H group designed and built the new working garden behind the Extension Office. Many thanks also go to their leadership who teaches the Learn, Grow and Eat Program in 2024.
